Will my compensation and benefits change because of this partnership?
Your current compensation will remain the same. We are committed to ensuring consistency and competitiveness across the network. You will transition to the Ascend Aesthetic Partners benefit plan that is reviewed on a yearly basis to add enhancements and improvements as we grow and will participate in our 401K Match Program.
Our People and Culture (HR) team frequently reviews compensation and benefits to ensure we are marketplace leaders. Team members are notified well in advance if there are any changes to compensation or benefits. We aim to keep practices as streamlined as possible so minor adjustments may occur as we provide unified rewards, recognition, and compensation policies over time. The objective is to continually improve.
How will this partnership affect my day-to-day responsibilities?
Your day-to-day responsibilities will remain largely the same. Depending on your team role, you may experience workflow enhancements or changes based on unifying our systems, which might be uncomfortable at first, but we will work to ensure the transition and training is as smooth as possible. By unifying our systems, it will allow us to support you by allowing for the sharing of information across all practices to measure and refine best practice.
There will also be opportunities for career growth for those who are interested.
We are a growth-oriented company and therefore there is no need to worry about changes to your employment.
Will I have access to new training or certifications to advance my skills?
Yes! We are committed to investing in the professional growth of team members. You will have access to enhanced training programs, certifications, and development opportunities to support your career through our Continuing Medical Education (CME) program.
Will there be changes to the procedures or services my practice currently offers?
One of the benefits of this partnership is the potential for expanding the services offered at your practice. As a physician-led organization, we work with our doctors to identify growth opportunities, and you will be informed if new procedures or services are added.
How will this affect patient care?
Patient care excellence remains the top priority. This partnership aims to enhance the patient’s experience by providing additional resources, technology, and expertise to support the high-quality care you already deliver.
Will there be changes in the management structure at our practice?
The management structure will remain the same. We are providing additional support to your teams.
Will we get new technology or equipment as part of the partnership?
We are committed to ensuring you have the best tools for success. Over time, your practice may see upgrades in technology or clinical equipment to enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows.
Will the partnership impact our clinic’s culture?
Ascend Aesthetic Partners values the unique culture of each practice. We aim to preserve the positive aspects of your current workplace culture while introducing opportunities for collaboration and best practice sharing across the network.
Will our work hours or scheduling change?
Your practice’s current hours of operation and work schedule will not change without consultation and agreement with practice leadership.
Will there be layoffs or staff reductions because of the partnership?
There are no plans for layoffs or staff reductions. Ascend believes in growing and developing the existing team. Any future changes will be communicated openly, and the goal is to create opportunities for growth rather than reductions.
Will I have more opportunities to collaborate with other practices in the network?
Yes, of course! A key advantage of our partnership is the ability to collaborate and share knowledge with other practices in the network. This will open opportunities for professional development and peer-to-peer learning.
Will our clinic have to adhere to new policies and protocols after the acquisition?
Yes. This is necessary to unify protocols and compliance across the network. We respect the individuality of each practice, and you’ll find that many of our policies are aligned with industry norms and best practices. New policies are carefully introduced with input from your practice leaders to ensure they are aligned with your current operations.
Will patient pricing and our services’ affordability be affected?
There are no immediate plans to change patient pricing. Each market is unique, and as a physician-led organization, our Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) carefully reviews and makes decisions on such matters. If any pricing adjustments are made, they will be thoughtfully considered and clearly communicated to both staff and patients to ensure that quality care remains accessible.
Will there be new performance expectations or metrics that we need to meet?
Yes, there may be new performance expectations or metrics introduced immediately, as well as over time. Our People and Culture team takes a collaborative approach to performance management, focusing on clear communication, fairness, and development opportunities. Our goal is to foster continuous improvement, so these metrics are designed to help you grow professionally and enhance the overall success of the practice.
